It depends on the context- if it's purely verbal and at least decently polite, I'm not likely to intervene (unless it's deliberately insulting me; but then, that's usually nowhere near decently polite); I'm not the one being spoken to. If she says something like "I'm flattered, but spoken for", and the guy accepts that, it's all good; just move on. If she tells him to fuck off, that's okay, too, come to think of it (I've always found it's best to start off not being a jerk about things, but others are different). If she accepts it, well, then that's the end of things between us, isn't it? If the guy insists or approaches more bluntly, I'd probably take a harder line; a lifetime of heavy reading and casual linguistic study has left me with a LOT of ways of dismissing people, and I know words that will drive off almost anyone.

If that STILL doesn't work, then it's probably time to leave. I have enough experience with violence to know it's almost ALWAYS better to get out of a bad situation than to try and flatten somebody, even if you probably could.

I actually had this happen once. I should have just beat his ass down but I was kind of just appalled at my dates behavior. We're married now and he didn't get anywhere so I guess I win lol

Laugh. All of my dates in the past have been with either straight guys or lesbian women. So if a guy started flirting with them in front of me, it would be entertaining.

I don't think that any guy would be crazy enough to hit on a girl who is with a man, unless they were filthy, disrespectful, street boys looking for brawls!

If a guy tries to hit on my future date, i'll tell him politely that she's with me and ask him if he can't realize it!

If he was implolite and kept doing filthy guestures, than i'll take my date to somewhere else where we can have some nice time without the presence of some sh*tty guys who might ruin our mood...

In case the guy was too much, acted in a agressive way and my date felt so much bothered and he didn't listen to my words that this girl is on a date with me than he will regret it and will be taught a life lesson, he won't be so much dumb to brawl with a person like me 😏

I respect everyone and that's why i expect to be respected, when a girl is taken, it means she's taken! 1 is taken but millions are free, you don't have to act like a kid and embaress yourself, be wise and respect the others...

Eons ago when I would date women I wasn't in a relationship with if that happened I'd feel massively disrespected but I wouldn't say a peep because I didn't actually have the right to. In a serious relationship if that happened I'd let her speak up for herself. I might tell the guy off in private when she's not around or not. In marriage it's totally different. That guy approaching my wife in front of me is begging to get knocked out. At the very least he's going to be told to f'k off in no uncertain terms and as her protector it's my role to step in & take out the trash. She shouldn't have to deal with it. When we're not together I expect her to deal with it, of course.

Tell him to fuck off really who does that... If he doesn't back down I'm not afraid if it gets physical... I've had fights with bigger guys... Huge bumps.. One time bled all over the place... I even got a tiny little scar under the corner of my eye ( I don't care, it's sexy lol ).. sometimes a scumbag or an idiot think they can cross the line with you or the people you know and you simply can't let them do that... also you're a lot tougher than you would think... I mean I've never lost, got knocked down or a had a concussion in any of these fights... so if you get called up for action... Go for it and don't underestimate yourself

It depends on how she responds.

I would probably tease her by watching how she handles it. Then I would chime in the minute she points out that I'm her date.

I would then say something to add a little salt on the wound, like "Hey there! Sorry it didn't work out for you that one time."

Nothing. If she reciprocates then I'd leave her to it. She's her own person not my property.

Different scenario if they persisted and she was rejecting them, then I'd step in.

You're specifying date, so I am assuming not technically in a relationship, so as such if she enjoys their advances or beyond. Then I'd just Leave her to it.

it has happened a couple of times... and I would just watch and enjoy the moment, it was amusing, lol... definitely interesting as an odd occurrence

many other times they were about to try some luck, but they either saw me coming or saw me around, and they just changed their course of action, lol... some would even say "sorry"

nothing extraordinary happened for me to make a big deal out of it or to "do something"

An attractive girl is gonna get hit on by other guys. If she rejects those guys I have no problem trusting her. If she doesn’t, it’s only a matter of time before she ends up cheating, and therefore fighting over her is a complete waste of time. So all I do is observe her behaviour.

A guy offered to fight me for my date once. Fortunately the bar had security and the bar girl responded to my request quickly. We were the ones ejected by the way. A bit unfair but sensible. The security guard was going to have difficulty dealing with him and the guy could well have waited outside to continue on.

So once i went to buy a jeans jacket inside a clothing shop the seller showed me a jacket
I liked i was trying it on but was not sure to buy it or not.

At same time a girl came in and saw me and she asked for that jacket i am wearing lol and said it looked good on me and wanted one for her boyfriend.

Unfortunately it was the last piece lol so i bought it if its good enough for her it's good enough for me 🤣🤣.

I tell my girlfriend to ask the guy hitting on her to buy her a beer. After he does she walks over and gives me the drink I hold it up to him and say thanks.  That usually stops it.

It’s actually perfect chance to test her faithfulness. If she reciprocated anything with someone else during your date it’s a big foreshadowing she’s unfaithful and a cheater. I just closely watch her actions.
