I often see the girls being clingy, but the guys seems like no one being clingy..

Oh yeah. Abandonment issues. But weirdly it's not as bad if they go along with it. Can relax pretty quick to a reasonable level. Until yknow the relationship is gonna end, that's always hard tho either way

When I was younger it mostly came out in controlling or jealous behavior, and I still see some men do that in place of the typical "clingy" how more women do. But it's kinda the same thing. "Not allowed to talk to other men" vs "why are talking to him instead of me" vs "talk to me all the fucking time". Just a little more desperate sounding to be clingy hah
