I've been "dating" this guy for 8 months, we recently had sex last month. I'm not sure where we stand I never asked, but we were going out for 6 months before we even kissed. He cooks for me, we hold hands, we cuddle, he wanted to be sure I was off of the dating site, and he's only talking to me, he stares at me like I'm the most beautiful thing out here, he tells me i make him feel special, but we never discussed boyfriend/girlfriend goals.

The sex is very intimate and sensual not rough, he kisses every part of me,(my forehead, neck, arms, breasts, belly, shoulder, legs etc) stares into my eyes, the rhythm is slow and he hugs and kisses my forehead and lips afterwards and he just makes me feel so special. I haven't been in a relationship in awhile and if I'm being honest.

I'm scared to ask me, and I'm afraid of what his answer would be. I just feel I've built a connection and if it's the wrong one, I'd be hurt.. we haven't discussed anything.. and I know guys can do these things without actually wanting relationships with women.

Totally understand that fear, I know having those conversations isn’t the most comforting thing. But what you don’t want to do is keep investing more time with this guy if ultimately he doesn’t want a relationship. You can’t be afraid to lose what isn’t yours, so if he’s not on the same page as you then yeah it’s gonna hurt but then at the same time it wouldn’t be a loss.
