It's quite common actually. I'm not single and I'm sure to get approached at the grocery store if it's after 5pm. I don't get approached anywhere else.

I've been with guys and I thought they wanted to be with me but it was them just using me for sex and them abusing me so I think that would contribute to me hesitating to saying yes. I probably would say yes but I would be wondering in my head what he wants from me

I have learned if a guy tells just one lie doesn't matter how small the lie is to walk away and to walk away If he is late more then twice and to not have sex with him until he proves I am someone who is a genuinely interested in

You're human. You lie. Even if it's a white lie when saying "I'm fine" when you're truly not. How do you expect a man to be perfect? With that mentality you'll be single all your life don't you think? Personally it depends on the lie. If it's something serious then yes makes sense. Or maybe he hides it from you because he's embarrassed? Afraid how you'll react? Late to a date? I think it he has a good excuse and text you letting you know I think that's fine as well 😂 once again no one is perfect. Take me for example. I got cheated on. Does that mean any girl that has a male friend co worker I'm going to leave because they might be cheating? Or become the toxic one accusing every girl I date she's cheating? I don't think that's frair to the good ones 😂

There might have been times when I had lied but I am not doing that anymore because I have been lied too so much it actually pushed me to almost end my life. Lies hurt and they can be damaging. My mind is so f'd up from being lied too that if you told me you were homeless I would need to see actual proof, same as if you told me you had no food. I would need to see proof. That is how much being lied too damaged me. So I don't lie. I tell the truth.

Well, do you plan on staying single all your life? If I were to date someone like you I just feel like it would be toxic. I'm not saying you are I'm just saying having to be really careful what I say and if I say accidentally a white lie (I'm fine) or if my partner accuse me of lying. (I say something then change my mind it could be looked at like a lie) I feel like it would be tough. Afraid to lose the person I love from a simple human mistake. Don't you think? Then that person can have issues falling in love afraid the next person will leave for his mistakes. No?

I do understand where you're coming from when you said your mind is fucked up. I'm there too. My ex mentally/physically abuse me. Gas lit me for 3 years then cheated on me with 4 guys that I know of. But I take full responsibility for my trauma (PTSD) I decided to stay there. I haven't dated for the last 2 years because I'm afraid to get heart broken again. It's tough being vulnerable, just to get abused of.
