Grocery shopping?

What is the difference between you and your significant other when grocery shopping

When I go grocery shopping I get things like potatos , hamburger, chicken, veggies, flour , tomato paste Roma tomatoes, essentially I get ingredients to make food for the next 2 weeks

My husband on the other hand his cart looks a lot like frozen pizza, pop tarts, nutty buddy bar's, potato chips , spray cheese, crackers oatmeal cream pie, bagel and cream cheese, in other words a cart of snacks 🥨😂

Its also why I can't go shopping with him I'll suddenly look down in my cart and see the veggies hidden by a layer Reese's peanut butter cups and fudge rounds 😅 while he's snickering with a big grin running to another aisle

Ps no I'm not mad he gets junk food but I am saying if I only sent him grocery shopping we would be living of pizza bagels the rest of our lives.

I stick mostly to the shopping list, my girlfriend packs a lot more things that are not on the list.

Also i arrange the items carefully so veggies and fruits don't get crushed, my girlfriend just throws everything in.

Same when at the cashier, i put the items in order they need to be packed on the conveyor belt, my girlfriend just throws them onto this thing.

I always do the grocery shopping and I do the big shopping weekly.

Things I get weekly are milk, eggs, fruit, veggies, yogurt, cereal, bread, water, cat food - but then also whatever ingredients for the week's dinners and there are always a few special request items.

I wasn't feeling well once and sent my husband to do the shopping - he was mostly good about sticking to the list but kept calling me to ask where to find things. 🙃

She can easily spend over 100$ on junk food

I spend maybe 50$ on mostly spices because we have food at home.
