I dont think my partner brushes his teeth very often and it's off putting when he kisses me and stuff. I told him I didn't really like making out but didn't tell him that was the reason, I said I just didn't like it. I'm too scared to say anything because I don't want to be rude, but is there anything i can do about it? I've dropped hints in tweets and stuff and none of it has worked

Yes there's one way to fix it you have to understand you are in control of you if you do not like kissing him which I don't blame you you tell him and then you tell him again before he can kiss you he needs to go brush his teeth it's disgusting you don't want to be passing dirty ass germs from his mouth to your mouth and you need to make that a point look at you have to teach him if he didn't learn when he was younger teach him now tell him it has nothing to do with him except for you don't like kissing a dirty mouth it's disgusting sorry but that's the way it has to be and he will change if he really likes you he will change believe me who doesn't like kissing who doesn't like kissing a beautiful clean mouth because you can get into it it's just 10 times funner I don't want to even feel a pair of lips on me if I smell dirty mouth but it's up to you to fix it you are in charge of you you are the boss of you you have to start setting a point you have to show him who you are you're not going to take any crap don't allow it to happen teach him don't give in either that way he will brush his teeth everyday twice three times hopefully
