What about OLD apps/platforms attracts only non-serious users?

I use about 6 of them now, and cannot find a single female that actually wants to go out and date people, despite them all being categorized as dating apps.

There are hundreds of internet blogs, forums, social media sites and posting platforms where it would not be hard to amass followers and get attention.

Why don't people just get their attention fix there, instead of misleading people who are serious about meeting in person? Is there some collective conscious influencing people to no longer have real interest in the opposite sex? Please... help me out here.

Bored and it is the same with all visual products. Rentals, for example, were blowing up crazy during COVID. Bored and nothing going on in Social Media world.
