Tell me would a democrat from back then vote democrat today or would he vote Republican like the rest of the alt-right? Democrats from back then were not liberals, why did a lot of the traditional democrat voters switch to voting republican and a lot of the traditional republican voters switched to voting democrat? With the traditional republican states in the north and democrat states in the south switching?

Also do kkk members today vote democrat? I don't think so. The democrat party had right wing and left wing in their party way back in the day I think.

How? I can maybe understand that the republican party itself did not change but the democrat party did, and a lot of republican voters and democrat voters did switch, why is the south was always democrat and the north always republican, then all of a sudden, it's the southern states that are almost always republican and the northern states that's almost always democrat?

Tell me in the south, the white dudes who proudly display the confederate flag, what party do you think they vote for today if you asked them? The point I'm making is that the racist white democrats back then were not liberal. I think the democrat party had a right wing and left wing, some were racist and some were not and they tried to appeal to both, but then the left wing eventually took over the democrat party and the right-wing democrats switched to being republican and the more left wing republicans switched to being democrat. I find a lot of regular non-racist republicans (who are the majority of republicans) try to call democrats the real racist because of history but ignore that the ''alt-right'' or those with similar views are actual racist conservatives that vote republican.

And I'm not saying that there are no racist modern democrats, a lot of them are racist against white people. Sure, sometimes white liberals can be unintentionally racist when they say that black people are either too poor or can't figure out how to get an id to vote, but the real white racists today are the ''alt-right'' or those with similar views, and they vote republican.

I keep my socializing with liberals as minimal as possible, so I wouldn't know if the ones I have met feel that way or not.
