So I'm a white guy and the girl I like is black. I'm chicken to ask her on a date because I'm afraid I'm just too white for her. I wear khaki chinos or khaki cargo pants when feeling extra casz. I have a lot of collared shirts and polos, so when I wear a sweater, the shirt collar is folded over the sweater.

But I can't change who I am. I play squash on the weekends, and I overheard her talking about how it is a lame and dying sport. So I'm scared she won't be impressed to lesrn about my hobby. But whenever I talk to her, she always smiles so big and widens her eyes when I say things. Like the other day, I told her about how I finally found the perfect size water bottle to fit into the holder on my backpack with the clips at the front so it is extra snug and secure during my morning walk to the bus stop and she said I was really something else. That's good right?

Do you think there is a chance?

I don't know. Growing up in Los Angeles my friends almost always had pigs feet, pork and barbecue. There was not really any chicken. Lol
