My boyfriend barely does anything for the relationship and i rarely see him. He's always working and barely does anyhting with me until there is another man in the picture (someone who has a crush on me). He will basically treat me better and compete with the other man.

Do you mean he is always working but works way too much to be working all the time? Outside of that, Working to long is good. At least he reacts to the idea of losing you in a positive light. He could not care at all AND since he does THEN he must actually be working and not with another girl... while you are flirting with another guy !!

He barely does anything for the relationship, but he's always working. Read that again... slowly. And ask yourself why he's always working, once you figure it out apologize to him.
