How should I go about meeting men?

I want a relationship. I want to take things slow
and not have sex till we get to know each other.
It's hard to find a man who seeks to want this
too. I've tried online dating and they all just
wanna hook up, l'm not in school and I feel like
bars wouldn't necessarily have me finding men
looking for anything other than s hook up. I
really don't know what to do.

I like Meetup. com. It organizes social groups by interests and activities. Anyone can join, and anyone can start a group. There are a wide range of interests and activities available, and if you don’t find one you like, you can start your own group!
Meeting people organically is the best way to “go slow” for obvious reasons.
Also, if you have family and friends you trust, let them know that you’re looking and what you’re looking for. If your own social circle isn’t venn diagramatic with Mr. Right’s but theirs is then it doesn’t hurt to ask for a little help.
I’ve had lots of friends suggest church for me. Devout Christians are infamously chaste, until they’re not, and their own social circles are pretty limited. So if you’re not entirely opposed to the idea of religion, then find a church. If you’re already a churchgoer, start visiting other churches if your fella doesn’t go to yours.
Finally, unless you’re living in a convent or all-girls skool, life is chock full of men! Rumor has it we’re about fifty percent of the world’s population. Ell oh ell! You’re almost certainly seeing men everywhere you go. So…. start paying attention. When one catches your eye, pay more attention. If he says or does something interesting, say ‘Hi!’ and off you go.
Meeting men is easy. Choosing one you can suffer for the rest of your life, who will also suffer you…. THAT’S the hard part!

Thank you for the advice. I really don’t see a lot of men outside of who I work with. I mean sure I’ll see them at gas stations or Walmart, but it’s usually just a pass each other situation, or a short talk but nothing that makes me feel like I should try to continue it. Also, I guess I’m just very unlucky as the few times there is a guy I’m interested in and impressed by, he often will have a girlfriend 😭

Well Gag is kind of a bad place to look because the odds of finding a guy on here near where you live isn't very good. I used to meet women at parties or on Facebook, but it seems like nobody's on there these days. If you do use a dating app I guess it's important to put exactly what you typed in the details of this question. Otherwise you're gonna have to try to meet somebody through friends, work, school, hobbies, or other activities that you're interested in.

Going out with groups of friends used to be the best no pressure way to hang out and see if there's attraction and chemistry with anybody. You gotta be in the right place at the right time.
