It is good for one to have their life ordered properly before dating. I like the India way and I know lots of them. The arranged marriage work out well using Common Sense and their cultural Caste system. I do not know one that has not worked, however, the majority of the crowd I know are top 5% of Caste...

I like that it is not lust based garbage I am in love marriage arrangement. Elders have lived, seen, and no more. They love their children, therefore, they want the best for both. The moving into the Parents home, adding a room, and all that would kill me.

I'm Indian and the reason they work is because there is no concept of divorce. So when two people are married, they are forced to settle their differences, compromise and make it work and not take the easy way out. This brings them closer through the years. Indians are also married young so they go through a lot together.

Of course there is the other extreme as well where the man takes it for granted that his wife has nowhere to go so he abuses and ill treats her. It happens rarely and usually family intervenes. But still better than the concept of divorcing at every little hurdle

Getting your first girlfriend-boyfriend by age 16 is normal. I'm a big fan of boyfriend-girlfriend relationships. It's a step into the adult world.

A person can continue dating forever after that, until they decide that they are ready to settle down for life with a particular partner.

It's different for people who want children. Women should ideally be married and beginning families between their mid to late twenties. Although, I did read that the ideal age for women to start families is 30.

I think the most fun I had dating was when I was in my late 30s. Then I met my future wife when I was 40. I've had the same girlfriend now for 26 years and love her with all my heart.

That’s true. As well as a lot of people don’t marry for the right reasons. Some marry for financial reasons. Some marry because they’re with someone they aren’t really in love with but have a kid together or just been together a long time.
