What are some good dating experiences you had? Or your favorite date you went on?

My mom told me yesterday that I should date again but I'm not ready and I told her all the bad experiences, even just explained on here in a comment and I just realized how I'm sometimes just looking at the negative, so we gonna stop that lol

My favorite date was with a guy whom I met after "friends" left me alone in the city (we were bar hopping) and I got approached by a lot of weird dudes, he came along, pulled me to the side and stayed by my side until we found my "friends".
A month later we went out to a date and he was just so damn cute! He really wore a suit for a café haha We talked for hours.
Sadly it didn't workout cause of religion but it was still really great!

My eyes and brain are not working together. I swear I saw “worst dating stories” in the title. I’ve already typed out the story. I’m just going to send it anyway.

I was fairly new to this friend group. We all went out to eat but I realized too late that I was broke. I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu (fried calimari…🤢).

and out of nowhere my nose started to run. I noticed when my nose dripped right on my plate. Everyone saw it. One of the other guys offered me a ride home. I was out. Partly for being embarrassed and mostly because no one talked to me again.

after a high school play. We all went out for pizza. A girl visiting from another school was flirting with me. Some of the guys in the group were hilarious. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t eat without choking. The last piece of pizza got knocked off the table to the floor. I still had my last piece in my hand. The laughter continued…but I wanted to finish my pizza. So I went outside to eat it in peace. Before I could finish it the group came outside as I was taking the last bites. They all thought I was leaving without paying my share of the bill and the girl who had flirted with me thought i was eating the pizza that had fallen to the floor. No high school romance for me.

It happened to be a random night at a bar I walked into turned night club on a double date night. We all looked at one another and hit the dance floor. The DJ happen to be a chick spinning that night. She had everyone dancing.

One that really sticks out to me is after I had a big test, he brought me some ice cream and we had a picnic at the nearby memorial park.

When I was 21 I took two cute Native women to the movies with me and I sat between them. They were roommates and when I took them home we all slept together in the same bed. One of them told me to hold her so I did, then the other one told me to lay between them and hold both of them. The one I was holding grabbed my arm and said "Don't do it" so I just stayed holding the one. That one became my girlfriend and later on my wife.

I went on the first official date with my future wife after we hung out a few times. I got tickets to see Gordon Lightfoot at an outdoor venue. It was about a 2 hour ride to get there so I figured it would give us time to talk. I made a nice picnic lunch and we ate on the grounds. The weather was perfect and Mr. Lightfoot put on a really good show. I got her back a little after midnight and we sat in the driveway and made out like a couple of teenagers.

Almost all of my dates are good. After we've had a couple of minor meetups - the first one I don't count because the girl is usually nervous, anxious, too intense, etc. so I tend to decide more off the second meetup. I plan something fun, contingent upon what we both like, what she likes that sounds interesting, or something I like that I am sure she will enjoy. Museum, a picnic, a concert, even a hike might be the plan depending upon her.

Not to be cliche, but for me it’s been more about who it’s with tha what we did.

But the best date I’ve been on was at a beach kinda on the outside of the cute here. Went down, brought some takeout and a blanket, had her dog along with us and had a campfire and slept out on the beach.
Probably a lousy description, but it was just an amazing night

I got to go on two casual dates before my girlfriend passed away. The first was my favorite. We were cuddling under a blanket at my house watching a very funny movie together. Even though that’s basically all that happened, it was easily one of the best times of my entire life. I wish I could have spent more time with her… We never even got to kissing and I knew I wanted to marry her when the time was right. But of course that time never became possible…
