That really depends on the feedback I am getting from her. So, first off its a new or not quite yet begun relationship then the urge to text all the time will be strong.

That urge is a natural part of limerance The state that we sometimes call "a crush."

If both people if then it can snowball higher and higher with essentially no end in itself.

As the stories of torrid love affixes if usually the outside word that somehow puts the brakes in the runaway couple.

Unfortunately however if limerance is too sided it can unravel as powerfully as it might otherwise have snowballed.

So if she is not giving a lot of positive feedback and showing that she too feels and explosion of new feeling then I need to pull back and let my own limerance deflate a bit before it unravels the budding relationship.

I rarely initiate texts with gfs, or my guy friends.
With respect to women I'm dating, its a semi conscious choice but when we in relationship, all the excitement/lust has simmered down and it's subconscious
