How to date and meet people in person?

I am a 24 year old female who was raised old school. Guys ask girls on dates they should be paying for everything and getting you flowers and walking you to your door etc..
somewhere in the middle of being raised that way I lost sight of how to meet people in current day. What’s your advice? Places to meet

You were raised unfortunately with a entitled attitude. I know they mean well. But people pay for dates and buy you stuff. Because they don’t have to. That’s why ir should be appreciated. This is also very one sided.

If you wait around on guys to ask you. You’re going to have limited options. Because the only options you have are the guys who approach you.

I think people should be nice and treat each other well. I’m not into one sided relationships and I don’t like entitled women.

Just reiterating, but whatever hobby, religion or political affiliation you are, go to functions pertaining to that. Avoid bars/clubs.

As for catching attention, if you're in decent shape, i. e. fit, you'll catch the attention of men by a matter of course. Now if you want to avoid the Chad's and Tyrone's... Just realized how hard it's going to be for me to meet anyone given my name is Chad 🤣 anyways, I'd recommend finding an average looking guy.

Average looking guys tend to be the most traditional, usually. Start up a conversation, compare notes and see how it goes.

A real gentleman pays for his date when he asks a woman out. It's not old school, it's proper. It is ok if you're dating for a while and the woman offers to pay the tab. It shows that she respects/loves him as much as he respects/loves her.
To meet a good partner I think the best places are in church, hobby clubs, and sporting events. I've found most people in clubs and bars are just looking for sex, not a long term relationship
