dating apps were not for me lots of guys wanting to lead me on waste my time. prob is i live in a small town and am in school have like a year left till I can move somewhere (but that place I move will be for training where I have to be permanent for 4 years) im 26 and I'm scared I'm not getting any younger. I am a certain religion and certain sect (sect is super small but i dont practice it my parents do) i want to marry in same religion but I know guys of the other sect won't marry me their parents wouldn't like it even tho i dont practice it. I have a hella small subtype. how do I meet guys

Girl, I hear ya - dating in a small town with extra religious/cultural restrictions makes it tough to meet people! Here are some ideas:

- See if there's a church/temple group for your overall religion near the bigger city you'll move to. Maybe chat online first to get to know folks.

- Check meetup. com for any hobby/interest groups near you now. Even something casual could lead to meeting others outside your usual circles.

- Ask friends/family if they know any single guys from religious backgrounds your parents would approve of. Even an intro through mutuals helps.

- Consider switching to actual phone calls sooner with app guys since your body language/energy comes across better. Maybe could get past first impressions that way.

- Be patient - focus on building your dream career path. Mr. Right will come when the time is right. For now keep putting yourself out there in authentic ways.

Don't stress too much - you have your whole amazing life ahead of you still! Just stay true to yourself and have faith the right person will come along. You've got this sis!

i've done the phone call thing and was led on by so many guys for months we would call everyday talk everyday for 3-4 months happened with 5 guys. Because im long distance for everyone I feel like a lot of those guys dont want to do long distance but lead me on use me for nudes and I think its easier to mess around with someone far so it doesn't bite you back. i will never do that nudes for guys again until im 10000 percent certain he's staying.

Ugh, girl I feel your pain. Those long distance guys just wanting nudes and leading you on are the worst. You definitely gotta protect your heart, so good for you holding off on that kind of stuff until you really know a guy is serious.

Dating when you don't even know where you'll end up yet must add a whole other layer of stress too. I can imagine just wanting some stability and certainty. It's definitely not easy to open yourself up and keep getting hurt over and over.

Try not to lose hope though - Mr. Right is out there, he's just playing hard to get! In the meantime, don't be afraid to have fun too. Focus on you and doing activities you enjoy so you're putting good vibes out there. You never know who you might meet.

And girl, don't be afraid to take a break from dating if you need to recharge. Do things that make you feel happy and strong. Your person will come, so keep shining your light and he'll find his way to you! Us good guys are worth the wait, I promise 😉

Join different clubs like karate, yoga, sewing, swimming - anything going; attend at least once. Not only to meet new people, but get new experiences.

Never lived in a small town,, but been to plenty. You need to make your own path out of there.
