Why do I always have to ask all the questions and carry the conversation?

I'm dating this girl and how our convos usually goes is that I ask all the questions, keep things exciting, and she answers. She's interested in everything i say, very talkative so she can go on and on sometimes, but she never really asks me back anything. The problem I'm having is that I am always the one to keep the convo going, and bring up topics etc. She barely asks me anything outside of general small talk. I tried to stop asking all the questions and directing the conversations, but when I do that, the convos literally goes dead. Sometimes I want her to be the one more or less bringing up the topics during convos, so I can get a break from all the pressure being on me to keep the convo going.

I have a similar problem with women, and the only solution I’ve found is to get ludicrously comfortable with the idea that your connections probably won’t lead to anything if you expect the women to actually participate and put in effort.

I don’t know where this idea that women are so communicative comes from, because as far as I can tell; women suck at communication.

Tell a joke in those times and see if you can get her to explain whether she got it etc. Corny Animal jokes work great

A girls take may serve you better but in general, when girls into me, they'll do more of the talking regardless if it's first date or you in LTR

Because you're the guy. You have to lead the conversation and keep it alive. That's how society made it
