Depends on circumstances. If I really loved her and she erred, I would be waiting. I love like that... when i love. Otherwise, like you say he's gone in the wind with a new girl.
Waiting is really the rarest thing. And I would appreciate a guy who does that. But in most circumstances the guy will be already dating some other girl so it is not necessary for the girl to go back to him anymore
I think you are correct. Love sucks sometimes but hopefully we make better choices.
I think most young single guys would prefer a period of about three months with one partner then split and not start a new relationship for at least as long again. You get to enjoy the intensity of a new relationship and then the absolute please of being unfettered and able to do your own thing for a while
But when you get a little older and particularly when you develop the right mind set being in a permanent exclusive relationship can be the best thing ever
I would not be interested in any other girls if i ever loved you, for me it took almost 2 years after we broke up, to start dating others
