When I was in high school, I was best friends with a girl on the cross country team. She was Hispanic, very funny, very blunt and was herself. She didn’t care what other people thought of her. I liked her…

Some other important characteristics about her was she was very smart. She would get better grades than me in calculus. I’d get a 90. She would get a 97.

I’d rather have conversations with her while she sat on my bed. I never made a move on her. Our conversations were fun.

Fast forward to now in my adult life. I never met another girl like her. The girls I dated in the past, there was nothing else to do but have s3x in my room. I’m realizing she was unique but she is long gone now… someone else wifed her up.
