Guys, When did you realize you wanted more than just sex with the person you were casually dating?

I’d like to know from men who were dating women and ended casually dating. What made you realize you wanted more and not just having sex with them?

I know this is a generation of hookups and no strings attached. I know it’s more common for women to end up wanting more but do men also end up wanting more?

Sometimes men experience that too. But it's rarer for us. If someone is my fuck buddy, it's precisely because I enjoy her but I don't see her as someone I could have stability with.

The only way a fuck buddy could become someone I want more from is if she became someone I can actually rely on.

However I do look at the two "extremes" and that is "hook up culture" versus "high school sweethearts" aka - if people live very uhh sheltered existences no wonder even "perfect" relationships from high school through to college through to getting a mortgage and a white-picket fence 🏠 or apartment with white balcony fail because - it's either too perfect or it's too indifferent 😐

😆 from day 1. I wasn't even attracted to my wife when I first met her. I mean she was a woman. She had her goodies. But I never wanted to sleep with her from day 1. She was just my foil. She made fun of me repeatedly and I teased her. She was always smarter than me. Something that hasn't really changed.😆 She saw what a good match we were long before I did. I assume that has to be it because otherwise I still don't get why she chose me. She could've done a lot better.🤪😆

Hell I don't date at all. Lol. I turned 30 months ago and figured like Doc Brown it's a nice round number however for letting loose of old habits (aka dating, sports car dreams haha) and act my reality aka realist or realism - average single guy, average car, living the dream. 🙂👀🤑
