What shoud I do if a guy I'm talking to online is shorter than what he initially told me?

We've been talking for 5 months (we met through tinder) and he told me we were of the same height 5'5 ft... I doubted it before cuz I know a lot of people who says their 5'5 but they're not and I know they aren't cuz that's my height..
but I trusted this guy, I also enjoyed talking to him so I wanted to trust him.. but he got himself measured again after 5 months and he said he's 5'3.. I wouldn't mind if he's 5'4 but.. 5'3.. I don't know anymore huhu..
it feels so wrong to get bothered by height but I can't help it.. I still think he's a good guy but I don't know if I can see myself date someone shorter than me.. my family also wants me to date someone taller than me and I just feel really lost atm..

I want to know any guy's pov?
I live in the Philippines so I hope some Filipino guy can answer :(

Height isn't everything!
If you get on well together in chats then you could try and look past the height and see if you click.
It is hard to know height because I thought I was taller due to other friends saying their height and I was taller, but I wasn't and their height was wrong etc.
But give him a chance, even if you were both the same height, you'd wear heels anyway and he'd be smaller

I thought of still wanting to meet up with him to really actually see if we click despite the height but I don't know.. atm I feel distant to him because of this.. huhu

I understand if he may have mistaken it, but usually people like about their height on dating apps. I've heard that from so many people. They'll tell you to usually subtract a few inches off what they say is their height and you'll have the real height.
