Is it bad that the guy I met is shorter than me?

So I’ve always had this mindset that I need a guy that’s taller than me. I am 5’11” in a half. I only want men taller than me. My friends said I need to get rid of that mindset of needing a man taller than me and give shorter men a chance. Easy for them to say, they’re shorter than most men so it’s easier for them to get boyfriends that are taller than them. My best friend is 5’6” and her husband is 5’8”, my second friend is 5’4” and her boyfriend is 6’6” and my third friend is 5’1” and her boyfriend is 6’3”. How I know the height of the boyfriends that they mentioned it. I envy them and I don’t understand why they envy my height. Dating as a tall woman sucks. Most of the guys I’ve dated were tall and my ex boyfriend was taller than me. He was 6’5 and they were all jackasses! They disrespected me and my ex boyfriend was a jerk and cheated on me with a petite woman. This guy that really likes me is only 5’6” he’s a sweetheart but I keep pushing him away. My best friend gave me a lecture about height not mattering and I should give him a chance and he may be the man of my dreams. She said taller women should give short men a chance. I rolled my eyes. He asked me out for next Friday night. I told him I would think about it.
Every guy that approaches me or shown interest is either my height or shorter. Tall guys walk right pass me or ignore me. They hit on my shorter friends. WHY DON’T TALL MEN LIKE TALL WOMEN?

My relative is 5’9” or 5’10, she married a man that was 5’5”, her daughters are models and are both 5’11” and the grandson is taller than 6’7” ft at the age of 15.

On the other hand, my grandpa was a tall man and my grandma was a very short one and here I am just being 5’3”.

Depends on how tall you are yourself... If you are the female version of "the hulk" that dwarfs the majority of dudes, then it's probably not that bad.

If you are very short yourself then that would be a bad thing for sure... It's kindoff a fucked up thing to do.. dating midgets isn't good

Hey watch it! I’m not a hulk! I’m so sick of people giving tall women crap about preferring tall men. One of my guy friends said if I do end up with a very tall men, if I end up having very tall daughters, they’ll have the same problem as me so I’m better off with someone my height or shorter than me.

I'm just joking around pls don't take my words seriously 😅 There is nothing wrong with someone being shorter then anyone else. There is also nothing wrong with a girl being taller then most dudes! It's your personality on the inside that really matters the most.

My length is 6"4 (1.93m) so it's very rare is a woman is taller then me and I do prefer a girl that is shorter then me when it comes to dating. But if I ever meet a woman that dwarfs me but we hit it off real good then I wouldn't give a damn about her being taller then me, it wouldn't change the fact that I would definitely consider dating her anyways of she wants that as well 💯

Bottom line... Fuck other people's opinion and just follow your heart and your gut instincts when you meet someone. Height really shouldn't matter when you are searching for love!😇🙏🏼❤️

Thanks for reminding that I’m very tall for a girl! Dating is hard enough and people comments on my height. People think I’m 6’2. My mom is 5’9” and my dad is 6’7”. No joke.

I’m not trying to be a dickhead. I’m just being honest with you. Something to consider. You’re taller than your mom. So if you end up procreating with a tall guy, chances are your daughter or daughters will be even taller than you. Thus they’ll be struggling more than you.

Because girls tend to say they just want a guy taller than them. When the height difference is basically a foot difference it’s extreme. Considering all girls want a man taller than them, but some date guys 3-5 inches taller. Not a whole foot taller
