Girls, what are some "red flags" in women that you think guys should look out for?

Of course, certain red flags can also be applicable to guys, but I want to hear ones that mainly refer to girls. What would you consider to be a negative trait a girl could have that could negatively impact a guy's wellbeing?

I’m not sure what red flags only apply to girls, all of the ones I’ve witnessed can be applied to both sexes.


Manipulative and reliant behaviour, aswell as love bombing. If she’s over the top obsessed with you as soon as you meet, her life revolves around you, she relies on you to distract her from her mental illnesses, then she’s very likely going to threaten to kill herself if you try to leave.


Another is lack of privacy. If she constantly voices that she’s scared that you’ll cheat on her, even though you’ve done nothing to make her think that, and she forces you to let her go through your private things: ie your phone or laptop. She’s likely projecting and she’s actually the one cheating on you, or she’s been cheated on in her past relationships and she hasn’t dealt with that trauma and is taking it out on you. Either option is toxic.

Girls who don’t reciprocate nice gestures, poor communication, helpless baby syndrome (I don’t know how to do anything for myself… my dad does it!), women who are motivated by free money (either yours or some other guy who likes her company for a nice purse or car payment), no long term friendships to speak of (I would say friendships that last longer than 3 years)

remember a relationship is a partnership. If she expects you to take care of her and bow to her needs… how would that be a partnership?

The worst most manipulative woman I ever met kept telling everyone that her ex husband raped her and the story was completely different every time and she told everyone in like the first 10 minutes of knowing them... so weird. Yes avoid girls like that.

Red flags are generally the same in both genders. But really watch how she treats the people around her, especially waiters, and family.
