It's better to stay single, with the outlook it might be forever, than chase any old relationship, for the sake of being in any old relationship. You will find yourself more lonely in that arrangement than single, and coming out of any relationship, good or bad, can exponentially increase the loneliness, feelings of anxiety, depression and grief. It's really unavoidable, even in the event of a partner's death. Meaning, don't waste time in average meaningless relationships that were not started for the best reasons.

And as a guy, avoid broken women who can grow bitter from all the guys they can go through just wanting a warm body to sleep next to. After five to seven serious realtionships, an average woman loses her pair-bonding ability. She will come on a strong and divorce you tomorrow. If she doesn't talk herself out of the relationship, her friends will. And most of all, she will never tell you about how many relationships or sexual encounters. It could be a huge number, and she will come off like she has hardly been with anyone. The older she gets, especially after a divorce, it will be plus seven and she will be damaged.

As a woman, once a man knows how to bed a woman, and if he indulges in too many, he will always have a thirst to see what is out there, and will view sex as recreational fun. He will give up on intimacy, even before and after getting married. He can bond emotionally, but will always lack total imersion in the relationship. If that happens, one or both partners will feel something is lacking.

The big take away is that timing is key. If you and her wait too long, or don't get out just enough... Both can be set on an unhealthy relationship path that can turn into all kinds of things. Typically avoidant style personality traits where the person never actually lets themselves go with others.

As a MGTOW, you should embellish the idea a bad marriage is less than ideal, you stand to. lose the most if you go into a bad marriage. If you linger in a bad relationship, you risk letting you get damaged, or distracted with needless things. Most people find fulfilling relationships on dumb luck, as no one is capable to plan a fullfilling relationship capable standing the test of time. The key is knowing early when to bail, and to sniff out bad partners that had too many missed red flags, i. e., chase any old relationship.

No. forever is a long time, you might be happy for a while, heck you might be even happy having sex with different girls every single day for the next 40+ years, but eventually you will get to a point, where you will feel lonely, like Very lonely and depressed. Each and every person wants to have a partner that would always be there for them, a partner that will be waiting for them when you come home, so you can talk to them about anything and everything, have fun and laugh and just share your life with them you know. Again, it might take you few decades to realize that, but eventually you Will wisen up and will understand that being single forever is hell.

I personally am happy being single or taken. But im proud that you can be happy being single, that's not something everyone can do and it takes a lot of work to get to that point, so I'm proud of you!

Single doesn't always mean lonely. Though I personally don't want to be single for the rest of my life, some people like being single

I have been single the whole of my adult life, Given that my job had me travelling around the world on short term contracts having an SO would not have been fair on them as I could be needed in virtually any country on very short notice, I do not have any pets for the same reason.

People can say they're happier and project that, but deep down everyone wants to be loved. We're social by nature and despite whatever pain or trauma you may have experienced or witnessed no one really wants to be alone. The people who say things like "men aren't worth it nowadays" or "all women are gold diggers" have obviously been hurt and it only shows how bitter they are not to have someone to love them.

It depends TBH. In general yeah life is better alone but every so often someone might invade your life and you’ll find yourself wanting them to stay.

Theirs this black girl I knew in high school who had a crush on me and recently she contacted me on Facebook and she pretty much forced herself into my life and in doing so she made me fall for her. I’m happier now than I was when I was alone but this an exception to the rule.

For the vast majority of my life I have been single and relationships are usually good in the beginning and then get really sour later on.

I really want a good partner who will accept me absolutely but such people are very hard to find.

I wish adults were more realistic with me about relationships when I was younger so I wouldn't develop these fantasies of a near perfect partner that will never materialize.

I'm getting to that point; I'm losing interest in taking women seriously. I would like to be perpetually single with a rotation of fine ladies.
