What are the signs someone has a split personality?

This guy I'm dating is like 2 different people. So much so that I was convinced he had a twin and I was seeing them both 😂

I honestly started to think I was dating 2 different guys, so I actually looked for the scar on his arm just to make sure he didn't have a twin. Sounds crazy I know, but that's how severe it is.

It's as though he has a split personality or something. He is literally like 2 different people.

There's been times that he looked at me and it was as though he didn't know who I was. It's so weird and hard to describe.

1 is the real him, the other is him conforming. The conforming version is doomed to die out in favor if the real version. Which one is which though? Thats the real question.

Acting how he thinks others expect him to rather than how he wants to act.

Oh I never thought about that. Thank you. Maybe the nice him is not the real him and so acts that way because its the way he believes he should act. Or becomes what he thinks I want so he can manipulate me
