The last guy I dated was somebody I knew from university - it was a failed relationship and we are now not on friendly terms but I do not regret it cause because it taught me what areas of myself I need to work on. He did approach me months later for a possible reconciliation but then changed his mind and I decided I would be happier with somebody else.

My guitarist's girlfriend asked me to play drums for some friends of hers one night. After our set, these two women came in to see the second band and were standing in front of me. I was sitting so, the one apologized to me for blocking my view. I told her not to worry about it because I wasn't watching the other band. She thought that was really cool and decided to sit and talk with me.
About a week or so later, I bumped into her again on the street and we started talking about music and she was enthralled with the music I was suggesting for her so, she invited me over to her place for a pizza so she could write a list of all the records I was suggesting to her. After another night or two of that kind of thing and another of her coming to see us play, we started seeing each other. After a year or so together, I asked her to marry me, she said, yes and, 8 or 9 years later, the mini-bitch started cheating on me!!
