A guy didn't text back for 3 days, so I blocked him. Was I right?

I met this guy just recently, two weeks ago, through common friends. We never went on a date, I saw him only twice, and both times among friends, but he seemed to like me, he even texted me saying "I like you, you know :)". And I liked him too. But it's been 3 days he didn't reply to my last text. I decided to block him and just get him out of my head, because it probably meant he didn't like me enough anyway?
