For a date or a relationship, what is the minimum education level of a prospective partner that you can get along with?

My absolute bare minimum is a 4 year Bachelor's degree. I find that anything less than that is a person that I cannot reason with or really talk to and get coherent answers. More education than that is of course even better. College students working on their degree are fine, of course.

I don't really care as long as they graduated high school, have decent conversation, and not sound like an imbecile. You don't have to go to college to be educated. A lot of college educated people I've met sound superficial in conversation too.

I once knew a woman with a master’s degree in political science who didn’t know East and West Germany were no longer separate countries. Harry Truman was the last president who wasn’t a college graduate and he was far more intelligent than most of the Ivy Leaguers who have followed.

I’ve known some air headed Ph. D. s and some sensible teenagers. I want an intelligent woman, but I’m okay on not having a degree.

As long as they can communicate and function in society, there is no minimum. I've found education a very poor measure of someone's worth.
