My boyfriend doesn’t brush his teeth how can I tell him to take care of his teeth? (Read for more details)?

My boyfriend and I usually spend the whole weekend together. We get away and book a hotel, I’ve learn a lot from him and I’m sure he has too. It kind of gives me a small idea what it would be like if we lived together. I’m a female that likes skin care and cares a lot of hygiene. I’m usually the one asking my boyfriend to do face mask together or suggesting him to wear sunscreen. When I brush my teeth in morning I usually tell him “ let’s brush our teeth “ and we both do it but if I don’t mention it he could go on with his day without brushing his teeth. I’ve also told him he needs to floss bc he doesn’t like it. He tells me that makes his gums bleed

i know my boyfriend is insecure about his gums because they are a bit big and he hasn’t been to the dentist in so long but Is a turn off and upsets me that he has gone both days without brushing his teeth. I hope he brushing his teeth every night at home. But I don’t want be mean and tell him something rude.

Try being his dental assistant in bra and panties... or tell him no kissing until he gets his mouth health together. including eating you

Not brushing his teeth is so much deeper than just what you described. It speaks about his entire life perspective. This is a serious redflag. His gums bleed when he flosses because he doesn't floss...

I prefer to use a waterfloss. But when people don't take care of their dental health, something much deeper is at play and it sounds like you're not acknowledging it.

You're not acknowledging that he doesn't care about himself. How is he supposed to care for you when he can't even care for himself. Not brushing his teeth is a sign that something deeper is happening with his own mental. He need to start doing that or you need to drop him. And maybe he should see a therapist. Find out why he neglects his own health and confront it before its too late, and he can't get a girl because his teeth and breath are so nasty.

Tell him that he needs to brush his teeth if you're going to kiss him, because it affects the quality of the kiss. It'll give him the motivation to do it where he may not be able to motivate himself otherwise.

If you feel comfortable telling him, let him know that his gums bleed because he doesn't floss. If he begins flossing and flosses consistently, his gums will stop bleeding.
