Did you ever try to rekindle an old date?

Say it didn’t work out with a date and you broke up. Did you ever try to talk to them again if some time has passed e. g. a few months or a year? I have never tried this but I heard it works out for some people?

My first boyfriend & I lasted a month. I was too immature for a relationship at that time. We reconnected a couple years later and got back together. Relationship lasted 3 years before we called it quits because we wanted different things.

Not really, but I was the reason why we broke up the first time so I felt like it was my responsibility to get back in touch with him a couple years later.

Exactly, you would think that they’re done with you. So I didn’t expect him to get in touch with me first after our breakup the first time.
