So recently i found this girl cute asf and wanted to talk to her , i followed each other on ig but have ever really ever had a interaction in person (we both were in the same highschool) and now that highschool is finished up I don't know how to text her, how should i send her a dm if i should in the first place?

Well, you could simply start by saying hello and then introduce yourself. We will divide each scenario into cases. Does she have the name of the high school you both attended on her profile/bio/any posts?

Do you have any mutual friends? If so, you could request them to set you up with her.

If you are worried about coming on too strong, you could always say that you "accidentally stumbled upon her profile" and noticed that you both attended the same high school and then you can continue the conversation. But, if you are bold enough to be honest, you could just tell her that you have seen her around in high school and that you would like to talk.

"heya, i'm (your name). i'm not sure if you remember me because we never got the chance to interact with each other, but when i came across your profile, i noticed that we went to high school together."

Make sure you have some topics in mind to make the conversation livelier. Does she know you? I don't mean as friends, but at least your name and who you are? You don't need "rizz" or whatever it is to make a girl like you. You can never "make" someone like you. Do you know what she likes to talk about? Any hobbies that you share with her? Ask her questions and show genuine interest in what she likes.

If you don't have the girl's telephone number, it will be difficult for you to text her, so my understanding of how texting works.

Now, what prevents you from calling her if you have her phone number? Are you afraid of rejection? are you scared she will not pick up the phone? Are you worried she will think you are weird or even harassing her?

You never actually interacted, so what makes you believe that she is interested in you?

Usually, crushes are one-sided affairs and the victim is not even aware that someone is crushing on them.
