Should I even bother to her to know her after this?

Last semester I had a girl in my class who is a lesbian she spoke out many times in class about how she is lesbian and on the rugby team.
We were never friends but she sat diagonally behind me next to this other girl she was friends with in the class.
One day I came into class and I was walking towards the back towards my seat and she was looking at me as I sat down. She wasn’t glaring at me but was almost looking at me like she wanted to say something. I noticed because we made eye contact but I really wasn’t attracted to her at the time. This semester she’s in my class again and I occasionally see her glance at me. She ended up just shaving all of her hair off and I think she looks kind of hot. When she revealed it she took off her hat then kind of side glanced at me first to maybe gauge reactions. I’m starting to see her that way. I’ve also seen her in the hall and she’s looked at me but I avoided eye contact with her in the past. I’m bi and recently came to terms with it and fully ready to explore a woman and have sex with one. I’d like to think I’m pretty and a lot of women tell me I am and I’ve had gay women flirt with me before.
This class is small with only like 12 of us. Last time I saw her she spoke up a few times and I looked at her while she was talking and she turned beet red and I thought it was really cute.
I think she would be fun to get involved with. However there’s a problem. She hasn’t came to class the last two times lol. She is friends with this girl in the class who is super friendly to everyone and the girl said she would be going out of the country so she obviously missed class and so did the girl I’m interested in.
It’s just so annoying lol and it’s hard for me to have interest when she’s not coming to class. Should that be a turn off? Should I still try and get to know her. She comes often I just think she might’ve missed because her friend did but I’m not 100% sure. Maybe she’s out of town because it’s now spring break
