What to do and say on a first date with someone you've known for years?

So I am going on my first date ever with my long distance boyfriend in a couple of weeks and I am extremely nervous about it because I've never been on a date before.

I have no idea what we would talk about because we know almost everything about each other (we've been friends for a long time and just recently got together) and we talk on the phone almost everyday (but never for a very long time). So I'm afraid we'll run out of things to talk about while on the date since we know practically everything about each other.

Maybe I am making something out of nothing and it will go smoothly but I can't help but be a bit nervous that it'll be a wooden night.

I know what you mean because what else is there to talk about. :I have known you for years, what's on your bucket list. talking about the past puts the relationship closer to the friendzone that boy/girlfriend.

Look up stuff in your or his professional field and go there. "I did not know that you were into my career etc" Good luck.

Just dont worry. Be yourself

Start with simple things like hows the trip, hows your family, i missed you let's plan something to do tmr together

Treat them like you would treat a friend and then everything will feel natural
