Are nicknames a turn on?

Sometimes. Nerd from Hell and Clodhopper was not so much but Mr. Ambassador was manageable. Relationship nicknames are hot if both have humor. Gnome works for mine at 5’1 ish and I don’t know why but it does.

I like GIVING nicknames - usually to friends. Some girl's nicknames are usually more "affectionate" but not necessarily out of interest. More "fatherly" or "brotherly" depending on the dynamic.

I use the same pet names for all the past girlfriends because we didn't really get to the in-joke nickname stage much. You know... Hon, Sweetie, that sort of thing. So far I haven't had any pet names past "babe" (I think that's because they think I resemble the talking pig, though). Some of the nicknames they did give me were a bit mean spirited, and I hated them; though most of the time it was just my name or my shortened name, which is fine with me.
