Coworker said it seems like I live in my own little world?

Me a a couple of coworkers went to the casino the night before and today he mentions to me that when we were out that it looks like I’m closed off and live in my own world, never looking at people, to myself and not being open to meet people

I agree that I’m closed off I get bullied a lot and know that I am not liked nor accepted as I’ve been rejected all my life. I feel like it’s a defense mechanism to avoid interactions and conflict with people.

They were getting looks from women all night and I was just there with them hoping to gamble. The thought of meeting women or anything of the sort is never on my mind
