I never started out doing that.
I would use my pickup when I first started dating, it was clean, but not brand new.
I would not mention what I had as far as material things, or how much I made, would pay with a credit card and not flash cash around.
Years ago I would need to put down what I did for a living that I was an aggregate transportation specialist.
Some wouldn't care, others once they found out what that was would just fade away.
I had a dump truck, but it paid really well, but I think it was the perceived image that was the issue.

no i do not. if you just give money away like that, no the person will not genuinely like you more. instead you are buying them and their time, and it then becomes more or less a semi-prostitution type of thing. and it applies to non-romantic and non-sexual relationships and people, its one of the ways for some to have "yes men".

I tend to give it in gifts. If I know my girl is saving for something at her place, I tend to side her some money, or I sometimes I get jobs/contracts that require an extra pair of hands, and pay her for the help.

Unless you are married or in a serious relationship before giving them money I wouldn’t recommend it. Women will start to see you for your money and their potential gain. It can lead to a transactional relationship.
