I think I’m falling for my co-worker?

We have a lot in common, we always make each other laugh and she’s recently been a lot more interactive with our fooling around in terms of our bashful jokey comments that we’ve been making about each other, we both like horror movies and have the same kinda views and interests activity wise. We also have similar life experiences and mental illnesses which I worry about a little bit if anything did develop 😅
However it’s been my policy not to date co-workers as it’s bad in my opinion to mix love and work and this one particularly might be trying to use me, I think she might be mirroring me and being friendly because she’s just split up with her girlfriend of five years and she’ll need to move in with someone/stay somewhere closer if she’s to continue working at this company. What do you guys and gals think? About the situation and about your views on the matter entirely? Would you date a co-worker?

Those HR policies and life responsibilities can end lots of good opportunities. Business priority is themselves and Team so they get up in people's personal life. I know a couple who beat that and got married. It is not impossible with two professional and discrete individuals.
