Girls, Do you ever let your mind pick out clothing for you like a bikini or dress?

I do sometimes just because i find it fun amd it's nice to know that her likes it. However sometimes he surprises me and chooses something more revealing then I thought he would. When he does this should I keep the promise and wear it? Or should I just say sorry to much skin, I don't want him getting mad if other look or I have nip slips
