We don’t want you to be all strong and independent like men - that’s gross to us or just irrelevant.

I think that ambition and confidence is something that men are also attracted to. I would never want to be nothing without a man, I do have my own worth even though I am a woman, that's not a man's thing. Also overconfidence is very unatractive as egoistic people are very unlikable. You need to know how to humble youself as a human

Sure manly men are attracted to feminine women but crying all the time is not cute. I agree to the extend that you probably wouldn't be against crying on her period when emotions are through the roof, but all the time definitely not. I also do not like to be seen when crying, it feels like defeat if someone notices.
