I’ve been on dating apps for about 4-5 years now. I’ve noticed that many people on there are very ignorant and selfish. I don’t understand why they don’t care about someone else or even make an effort to answer all their messages. I’ve felt that many of the guys I’ve messaged on Badoo ignored me. Tinder and bumble didn’t work out because I didn’t get as many matches until I actually made an effort to wear makeup. If I didn’t wear makeup they banned my account.
It’s so horrible the way the society is laid out that only girls with big eyes, high cheekbones, big boobs and butt, skimpy clothing, heavy makeup, colored hair and Beauty on the outside are considered. Is this really how dating apps are like? Is this how terrible the world is like nowadays? So let’s say I ignored on those apps. What’s the big deal? Why does it bother me so much?

It sounds like you should not be on the dating apps. It seems you have learned that they are not the best alternative for you but yet you continue to use them🤷🏻♂️

You really don’t have to be so harsh. I never deserved to be feel like I’m ignored or feel like I’m not pretty to even be on there
A large amount of people on dating apps are using it not for dating but as a way to pass the time. That means that even if matching, there might not be interest in more. That isn't something you should be offended by! Not your fault in any way. They simply were not pursuing an actual date at that time.
If you take dating apps too seriously they become nerve wracking cesspools. So I'd strongly suggest you treat it as a bit of casual amusement until it becomes more - at which point of course you can and should give it all the value you want it to hold.
