So obviously an ex and I have been chillin and it's obvious we both still love each other but in the past we hurt each other mr and Mrs Smith status. Should I fight for us or get and laid and run?

Fighting will just bring more amenosity and lead nowhere except that you will start hating each other rather than just dislike each other.

Copulating on the other hand can just be seen as pity sex and that is very low key and does not bring anything on the long run except perhaps STD/STI. Never entirely trust an ex not to want to harm you.

Why don't you simply remain platonic acquaintances without any emotional of physical bond. That would bring you so much more than a few pathetic spasms and a possible venereal disease. Keep your dignity and self-esteem and don't fornicate just for the sake of it.

Mrs. & Mr. Smith is a propaganda movie and it never works in real life.

So, an ex is an ex for a reason. Why did you revisit this relationship that had failed? That sounds like a bad idea considering you did not get along in the past. What makes you think it will be any different this time around?

It may be all well and good at the start but rest assured it will return to the way it was in the past. I can almost guarantee it. As for the choices you are giving yourself, I’d choose neither.

Why would you fight for something that failed miserably already? I can say failed because you are after all exes. As for the other option, why not find a guy that you can sustain a relationship with and will treat you well to be intimate with? Doesn’t that sound a lot more appealing than having sex with your ex knowing full well it isn’t going to work out again?

People don’t fundamentally change and therefore I think you are headed towards failed relationship; part two.

You're still in a toxic relationship, and the sex will just keep you there. You won't run after the sex, because I don't think you have it in you to walk away from him, which is why you're still there now after everything that's happened. You have what's called a trauma bond, which are notoriously harder to break than other bonds. What you should do is walk away without sex, but what you will do is another story in my opinion. I've seen this scenario so much, and it almost always ends the same way. Good luck though, you should just leave.
