When someone is an asshole and isn’t aware that they’re being an asshole, like they genuinely think what you’re doing is wrong even though it’s exactly what they did, it’s usually because of some kind of mental block or unexplored train of thought.(the one that made you realize other people have feelings too)


When someone is an asshole and is 100% aware that they are being a an asshole, that’s when they fit the definition of an asshole correctly.
