Let’s say you’re a man with a good head on his shoulders who comes from a big family, and you’re very family oriented..

If the girl your dating comes from a small broken family and chooses not to socialize too much with them because they are toxic , and not very good people.. would that bother you?

I come from a broken family with an alcoholic father and a narcissistic, abusive mother. Both are very toxic and not very great people. I don’t associate much with them. I’m worried that a family oriented man is going to look at that and be very turned off that I am not as family oriented.

No it wouldn’t bother me really. I say really because it may bother me if like you say they’re toxic, so they’re always around or attempting to come around causing drama for you, well in a way that’s going to play on me. But if they just stay on their side, don’t bother you really, it’s fine. I don’t want it to be a continuous thing as well where I come home from work w you crying all the time about something they did or said, again because that’s going to play on me as well. I hope you get what I mean. Like w my girlfriend she doesn’t talk to her brother or sister much because they act like victims all the time. Seen it for myself, so I’d rather not be around them. Just happy they aren’t always texting her giving her shit or making her feel bad cause he’s it would really piss me off.
