I was speaking to a guy once and it was just after Christmas/New years and I was going back to work.


I told him that I was really stressed out because work was gonna be extra demanding catching up post holiday season.


That morning I went to work and got a call from reception to tell me there was something delivered for me.


I went downstairs to find he had ordered me breakfast and hot chocolate 🥺. He knew I was going to be too busy to eat.


I think that’s the most thoughtful thing a guy has ever done for me. We weren’t even dating.

No one really gave me special gifts or did anything special for me unfortunately but I think the best things that you can do for someone is to give something to them form the heart, something that has meaning, not a price tag. For example, I learned about the types of music 2 of my female co-workers enjoyed. I made each of them a custom mix cd with various songs. One was really happy and excited about her gift. The other one invited me to her party and we hugged for about 2 minutes straight. Probably the longest hug that I will ever get in my life honestly. haha
