I wouldn't have thought that it could happen, but I became enchanted with a lovely young lady of 25 a few years ago, when I was 61 or so.

I thought of her in many ways, the daughter I never had, a highly caring, intelligent professional, and also as a romantic possibility.

Neither she nor I were "available" at the time.

Nothing untoward occurred, I made sure of that, but oh yes, there was stirring in my loins when I was around her.

There was return of affection on her part that I felt to be of a quality similar to that which I felt about her, a father figure, a hopefully thoughtful man, a virile man.

Man and woman, coming together in communion of spirit, if nothing more than that.

Amazing.

It was wonderful while it lasted.

I spent too much of my life hung up on age. Ultimately I see late 30's as Ideal. Young enough to still be exuberant. Mature enough not to be some ridiculous 20 something. But this is my initial point. I met some pretty mature young women and some very immature older women. So as I said before I try not to get hung up on age.

Yeah , but didn't know it was a thing. I wouldn't date someone my own age. I tend to do better with older men 41 + I've dated younger, but will date down by 5 years max

I don't mind the age gap, plus I'm more of an okd soul why I do well with middle-aged/ older men and they're not coming with drama or bs.. guys my age want younger.. I've never dated a man my age. Even in my teens or 20s it was always older 40s.
