Men and women, do you prefer younger or older in dating?

We all have our own preferences but it’s still a pretty taboo and controversial topic for most to discuss. Younger Or? Older?

I am not against dating women closer to my age. But I have better luck with younger women.

But I ironically had several bad experiences with women close to my own age. I hold them to a higher standard because I know that I myself am held to a higher standard at my age.

But when a grown ass woman acts flaky, irresponsible, unnecessarily shit tests, is disrespectful, etc I have zero patience for it. It takes a lot of me too if I put effort into dating them and they do this crap

A few years ago I had a woman a year older then men confidently try to friendzone me. I ironically gave her more leeway vs a younger woman on the early red flags I noticed. I thought a grown ass woman would know better then to attempt that bullshit. I thought a grown woman would know better not to exploit kindness as weakness. I thought she would understand that the friendzone isn’t a sex issue but a respect issue for men. But I was dead wrong.

She just was smarter in all the wrong ways. Just better at manipulating. She was real subtle and sneaky about her bs. Very clever about throwing me “bones” to think the romance was going somewhere to keep my attention. But I figured out what she was doing and called her out on it and cut her off.

She wasn’t the only one either who tried this bs either.

Definitely always had a preference for older men mainly because that’s the type of guys I’m physically attracted to. However, I don’t oppose the idea of dating someone around my same age group. I’m open but if I would choose definitely a bit older around 30s.

I never had a strong preference that way. I just dated women with whom I clicked most.

However, that always tended to be women in the range of the same age or a year younger than me.

My wife's the same as with all my ex-girlfriends. She's 4 months younger than me.

I never set out to date women so close to my age. It just always worked out that way.

When I was young I preferred guys much older than me. By about ten years. I don't know if it's because my ex husband was older and now put me off? But is younger guys now. Tho I would consider a guy a couple years older than me. It's more about finding someone who ticks all the boxes of what I am looking for. If that happened with an older guy then I wouldn't turn it down based on age. It's just what I'm looking for is mostly found in younger guys.

Even as a young'in was always into the older ladies. There is just so much to be said about experienced women that younger women are just lower league altogether.

Sure, you can have arm candy younger women, and the odd mature one. But very few will make the sort of sexual partners that make relationships work.

It's why fewer younger generation types now are able to make relationships last over 5 years. Let alone marry.

All my girlfriends, from the time I was 16, were younger by 1.5-3 years, but one was 30 and I was 36 when we met.
