He doesn’t follow many people so it’s relatively easy to see who he follows, I went through the girls and they are influencers who post provocative pictures. I saw he liked one and it makes me feel really sad, like I need to distance myself from him so I don’t get hurt. I don’t look like them at all. Am I being ridiculous.

Unfortunately men are wired this way. They are visual creatures who are biologically wired to admire and be with different women. It sucks but it’s the reality. A man can be married to his dream girl and he will still look at/mess with other women. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his wife. It’s just the way they’re wired. That isn't the same thing. She would be posting those pictures with the intent to get attention from random men online. A guy likes some pictures on Instagram (or A picture, like the asker said) of women who aren't going to give him the time of day. Not the same, at all.
