Guys, How many years younger would you be not ok dating a girl and how many years older would you not be ok dating a girl?

I think at our age it is better to stay within a few years like 2-3 but as one gets older I think sge might not make as much difference. Good question Cap!

When I was a teenager, all my gfs were a year older than me (it was just coincidental). I didn't worry about my girlfriend's age, also when I was 17 and she was 18. I would have been happy to date girls a year or two younger than me as well.

Over the age of consent at least! It would be emotional immaturity that would set the minimum age and emotional maturity is not that physical age dependent. Probably -3 years would be the maximum because in my experience women become pains in the ass at that threshold.

There have been studies on this and men, irrespective of their age, find women 21-23 the most attractive and thus I am assuming willing to date. I'm in the same category, as long as you're above the age of consent, I'm okay with it. And I am not willing to date anyone over 25-26.

I think anything under 23 is probably too young for me... I just think a person is not fully psychologically developed until they're 24-25 or something... Plus college girls are just so... Blaaaah xD... And I think anything older than late 20s / early 30s is probably too old for me...

Legally, I can't go any lower than 18 years years younger, at the moment. I'm 34. Age of consent here is 16, where am, but, you'd then have to ask yourself, is that really moral. Should a 34 year old really date a teenager, much less that young of a teen

I would not even consider dating anyone under 21. Generally I date older. The biggest age difference has been 17 years. Normal for me is 5 to 10.

Well I don't look for any woman younger than 35 or older than 55. Just because the odds are we'd be most compatible. And age gaps larger than 10 years. The success rates drop off dramatically.

that makes sense. i completely agree with that outlook. I feel like if you had to many years between you and another person you won't have a lot in common and may nog be into the same things.

Yeah. But as you age you'll find these lines get blurred much more than in high school. Because not everyone arrives at the same points at the same time post high school. Not that I'm belittling high school but you have basically 2 groups, those with licenses and those without.😆 post high school some will go to work some will go to college. Some will get married have kids and get divorced. Some will stay mostly single. Some will make minimum wage, some will make 100k a year. These details color everything. And the older you get generally the more baggage people have.
