Girls, if you have never talked to this guy before and he asked you whether you would like to hang out with him or not, would you say yes or no?

Long story short, during one of my college classes, there was a girl I had never spoken to before. However, I developed strong feelings for her and had a crush on her. Towards the end of the semester, I mustered the courage to ask her if she would be interested in hanging out with me. To my surprise, she agreed. My question is, if you were in a similar situation as this girl, would you say yes to hanging out with a guy whom you barely know, or would you politely decline? If you did say yes or no, what factors would contribute to your decision?

Hanging out the first time determines whether you're ok to hang out with more.

Doesn't seem like you've given her any reason not to hang out, so why wouldn't she?

Just remember: you've had this one-sided romantic interest without EVER saying anything.

Don't expect her to know or reciprocate those feelings. For all you know, she has no idea who you are outside "dude from that one class".

Start at getting to know each other. You never know - that image you have of her in your rose tinted lenses might not be who she actually is.

Depends on some things. How did the conversation go? Am I interested? Is he willing to do a group hangout the first couple of times? I would feel more comfortable if it was a group that included some of my friends. The biggest factor is how the intiial conversation goes though. I can pick up a lot about someone with a good conversation.

Goes to class on time for every class. (if he is not serious about class he is probably not serious about hanging out either.)

Listens in class and takes notes. (Shows he is goal orientated)

Dresses well (even in shorts and tee shirt he can be well dressed)
