There is this guy I work with that I like. Let's call him James. I feel like he might like me too from things our mutual friends said and how they act; they tend to tease us about each other. But one of our coworkers/friends recently asked me if I liked anyone. It was kind of a loaded question to get me to confess I had a crush on James, and he even said, "I bet you like James." He told me I should go for it and ask him out, but I'm not sure. I feel like if he liked me enough to date me, he would have asked me out, and I really don't want to embarrass myself, especially at work. Do some guys prefer to be asked out by women?
Times have changed. Women need to take some initiative and actually go after what they want.
That said, work is a very risky place to attempt to start relationships. The only way it has any possibility of it working is if you’re in completely different areas of the company. But still any drama and a company has to look out for its own interests.

I prefer to be pursued as I am not good at pursuing, but it usually men who are pursuing.
I don’t have a preference. I just want to meet the right person.
